Scottish Health and Care Experience Survey

Quality Health carried out The Scottish Health and Care Experience Survey 2015/16 on behalf of the Scottish Government.

We have developed a separate website where all of the results can be accessed, including a searchable database of reports for each individual GP practice in Scotland.

Background to the survey

The Scottish Health and Care Experience Survey asks people about their experiences of their GP practice, as well as their local care and support services provided by their local council and other organisations. The survey was posted in early December 2015 to a random selection of people aged 17 and over who are registered with a GP practice in Scotland. Questionnaires could either be sent back by post, or completed online.

The survey and sampling approach was developed by the Scottish Government in consultation with a range of stakeholders including NHS Boards, Integration Authorities and NHS National Services Scotland. The 2015 survey is very similar to the previous one which was run in 2013.

Older People and Cancer

Quality Health is delighted to have been involved in this important report published today by NHS England and a range of other organisations.
The report brings together a range of evidence on cancer treatment and outcomes for older people (including from the National Cancer Patient Experience Survey that we run), and points out where there is room for improvement.

Quality Health Staff run for Ashgate Hospice – in the dark!

A team of nine Quality Health staff successfully completed a 10k run in aid of Ashgate Hospice, based in Derbyshire, on 20 September. And it wasn’t just any old 10k. Chatsworth by Torchlight is a night time run and so all runners must wear head torches and be prepared for some challenging hills (both up and down). Luckily we were blessed with dry weather and Chatsworth House looked spectacular as the hundreds of runners made their way around the course.
