Daniel Ratchford BA (Cantab) MSc MBA CDipAF FRSA
Daniel is Quality Health’s Chief Executive. He has held a variety of high profile posts in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Daniel started his career at the Audit Commission, where he was part of the team that devised the very first sets of national performance indicators for the NHS and local government. Daniel was heavily involved in the development of the Audit Commission’s methodology for measuring the quality of health services (see Auditing for Patients, BMJ, 1994: http://qualitysafety.bmj.com/content/3/supplement/16.full.pdf); and instrumental in the design of the first public opinion surveys of local government services. Daniel went on to become Private Secretary to Sir Andrew Foster, the Audit Commission’s Controller, where he was responsible for a wide range of high profile research and policy analysis.
